This Privacy Policy explains how Lemonode LLC (“Lemonode”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the LemoNode VPN configurator and website (the “Service”). We built LemoNode around a simple idea: keep what we collect to the minimum needed to run the Service well.

1.Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Contact details — such as an email address, if you contact support or choose to receive service messages.
• Purchase information — when you buy an access key. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors; we receive confirmation of a transaction but do not store full card numbers.

Information created when you use the Service

• Access-key identifiers — a token that identifies your key to the client. We do not receive the contents of your VPN configuration except as needed to deliver a key you obtained from us.
• Operational data — limited technical information such as aggregate counts and error signals, used to keep the client working and to protect it against abuse. Because your traffic never passes through us, we cannot and do not log the websites you visit or the contents of your traffic.

Website information

• Basic analytics — standard, privacy-respecting metrics (such as page views) that help us understand how the site is used. The site uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to function.

2.How We Use Information

• To provide and maintain the client software that configures your connection;
• To process purchases and deliver access keys;
• To secure the Service, detect abuse, and troubleshoot problems;
• To respond to your support requests and, where you have opted in, send service-related messages;
• To comply with legal obligations.

3.How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Service providers — payment processors, hosting and infrastructure providers, and similar vendors who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations;
• Legal reasons — where required by applicable law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Lemonode or others.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

4.Data Retention

We keep information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, meet legal or accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Operational data is kept for a limited period and then deleted or aggregated.

5.Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit how much of it exists in the first place.

6.Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.

7.International Users

Lemonode LLC is based in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations.

8.Children

The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
